Our Childcare Program
A carefully designed learning environment
Our program is designed for preschoolers (aged 2.5 to age 4.5 years). These two years prior to primary school is when children learn much about themselves and their environment.
Little Teacher childcare is not just a program for parents who work and need care for their children during the day. It is a carefully designed learning environment that nurtures the child for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week over the course of two years. It is very important to create safe environments where children can experience early life lessons and make safe mistakes.
Our curriculum
Our early childhood curriculum is designed carefully to include math, science, writing, reading, listening, speaking, social studies, movement and dramatics, music, art, craft, design. Within this sphere we also teach children about culture, diversity, indigenous rights, and nature.
Little Teacher methodologies

Baby Steps
We understand that children learn differently than adults. We also understand that every child learns at a different pace and we respect that. The Baby Steps approach lets children learn in small increments followed by breaks so they enjoy and stay encouraged to learn more.

Obstacles to Overcome
We create play-based environments that naturally allow room for problems to engage in, obstacles to overcome, struggles to endure, failure to experience as a lesson, and achievements to celebrate as success. This is how we cultivate traits like perseverance and resilience. This is how we boost self-esteem.

Learn through play
Necessity may be the mother of invention but play certainly is the father” – Roger Van Oech. Life is full of opportunities for children to learn and grow. Learning through play allows children to learn passively while they have fun.
